We are a munster based provider of first aid training courses with a particular emphasis on cork city and county. Fetac registered and certified training. Qfa instructor. Registered cardiac first responder instructor. Pre-hospital emergency care council (phecc) registered. Cork first aid training can provide training courses at a variety of locations to suit our clients needs. On site training at your business or organisations existing premises. For individual training or training for smaller groups a private residence can be used.
We are conducting a 3-day blended learning first aid responder course (far course). Upcoming course dates: 27th, 28th, 29th march (for more date options please email niamh@emergencyfirstaid. Ie ) training schedule is two days via zoom and one day in-house. Candidates must attend all 3 days. Emergency first aid are registered providers of this nationally recognised course. In ireland the only course recognised by the health and safety authority is the first aid responder. This course replaces the old occupational first aid and is three days in duration. You get a nationally recognised cert issued by the pre hospital emergency care council and it is valid for two years.
€350. 00 course overview this first aid responder phecc accredited course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide emergency first aid for ill or injured people until medical aid arrives. The course will involve a particular focus on applying this training to sports and exercise situations, with practical reference to relevant scenarios in these settings.
Certification: phecc first aid responder dates: 9th, 16th & 23rd may duration: three days – 9. 30am to 4. 30pm location: county wexford chamber of commerce, hill street, county wexford. Course title: phecc first aid responder training aim: to provide learners with the knowledge and skills to be a first aid responder and understanding required to provide and coordinate first aid in the workplace in compliance with the requirements of the safety, health and welfare at work (general application) regulations 2007. Learning outcomes: learners who successfully complete this module will: deal with life threatening or potentially life threatening conditions until arrival of emergency medical services. Provide first aid response for conditions not thought to be life-threatening but are necessary to prevent further harm before the emergency medical services arrive.
Who is the certifying organisation? we are affiliated with emergency services training institution (esti) who are a registered training institution with the pre hospital emergency care council (phecc) who will accordingly issue your far certificate. As a result, your certificate will be valid for 2 years. Who can complete our first aid responder course? anyone!! why complete our first aid response (far) course? there is a requirement under the safety, health and welfare at work (general application) regulations 2007 to have a sufficient number of first aid responders trained in the workplace. Your employers specifically have a duty to provide first-aid materials/equipment at all places of work where working conditions require it.
